the Pass Plus scheme

When you have passed your test or you already hold a full UK driving licence, Pass Plus will become available to you.

Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers. It's much more than just a few extra lessons. This is a specially designed course by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry.

Pass Plus consists of 6 modules with a minimum of 6 hours tuition:
• Town driving
• All-weather driving
• Driving out of town
• Night driving
• Driving on Dual Carriageways
• Driving on Motorways

This course is extremely valuable to new drivers on the Island, having never experienced motorway driving, this is highly recommended by Go Puffin.

At Go Puffin the course can be flexible but normally we will take in a days driving on the mainland and we will cover all the modules.
